Camstage holiday break won't delay services
A traditional holiday break for most employees at Camstage did not stop repairs for two UK cinemas.
A Camstage crew headed to the Majestic Cinema in King's Lynn on Monday for a breakdown. The crew made it possible for the show to go on. But a crew will return with a new masking cable and specially made track to permanently fix the screen. See the photo on Facebook to see the broken track.
Camstage telephone support was enough to fix a Christmas Eve breakdown at The Gate PictureHouse in Notting Hill, London. The curtains stuck in closed position on Christmas Eve. Cinema staff, with Camstage telephone support, were able to get them open so holiday films could happen.
