Revitalizing cinema for today's movies....
Retrofitting an older building like the Cameo Cinema in Edinburgh, Scotland, means carefully fitting in new materials. Changing the screening room's orientation meant Camstage Ltd. could put in a larger screen wrapped around a halo frame (lower left).
Employees also installed ClothGrip™ acoustic panels, an acoustical soft-wall treatment, on all the walls. The new panels even cover the walls including those near the projection booth.
